About Dr. Simmons

Dr. Erik Simmons brings over 20 years of experience in combat sports as both a competitor and a coach. He has trained alongside Olympic legends and World Team members in wrestling, and coached athletes across every level of competition, including UFC fighters, Fargo All-Americans, and state-champion jiu-jitsu athletes

A PhD in Psychology and Behavioral Science, Dr. Simmons is deeply committed to science-backed performance. He currently leads research on several multimillion-dollar grants focused on coaching, mentorship, and behavior change. His work centers on one question: 

Why do people do what they do, and how can that understanding help them improve performance?

Dr. Simmons blends elite-level athletic insight with cutting-edge behavioral science to help serious fighters unlock their peak potential, in competition and beyond.

If accepted, you’ll receive a complimentary one-on-one call with Dr. Simmons. This session is designed to understand your needs, answer any questions, and begin building you a free personalized mental performance plan.

After your call, you’ll have the option to enroll in one of three coaching tracks:
